Thieme announces new publishing partnership with the AANS
Thieme is pleased to announce our new partnership with the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS). As of July 1, 2002, Thieme, the worldwide leader in neurosurgical publications, became the official book publisher of the AANS. Thieme also assumes distribution responsibility for the AANS backlist of 75 published titles.
Scheduled for release in August 2002, the first AANS book co-published by Thieme will be INTENSIVE CARE IN NEUROSURGERY, edited by Brian T. Andrews, MD, Chairman of the Division of Neurosurgery, California Pacific Medical Center, San Francisco, California. Other outstanding titles published by the AANS and now available from Thieme include:
- SURGICAL MANAGEMENT OF LOWER BACK PAIN by Daniel K. Resnick, MD and Regis Haid, MD
- BIOMECHANICS OF SPINE STABILIZATION by Edward C. Benzel, MD
- TREATMENT OF CAROTID DISEASE by Joshua B. Bederson, MD and Stanley Tuhrim, MD
- INTRACRANIAL ENDOSCOPIC NEUROSURGERY by David F. Jiminez
Plus, you can look forward to such future titles as VERTEBROPLASTY AND KYPHOPLASTY, CONTROVERSIES IN NEUROLOGICAL SURGERY, and ACOUSTIC NEUROMAS.
For your convenience, all AANS titles will now be included in the neurosurgery section of www.thieme.com. With more texts available, you will easily find the resources that meet your needs and enhance your clinical skills. The addition of the AANS book program highlights Thieme's position as the world's preeminent publisher of neurosurgery titles.
