The Acupuncture Network:
We are a group of students and practitioners based in Sydney Australia, who keep in touch with each other and colleagues from around the world, in an online discussion forum. We, The Acupuncture Network, are a registered not for profit organization and are always keen to work collaboratively with other key organizations.
AFCI:
The mission of the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute is to ensure the integration and expansion of acupuncture within the health care delivery system through professional and public education, development of standards of practice, advocacy and research.
Association of Acupuncture Practitioners (Praktiserende Akupunktører):
The national organization Association of Acupuncture Practitioners (PA) was founded in 1991 from consolidation of two former societies. The aim of the Association of Acupuncture Practitioners is to establish acupuncture as accredited form of treatment by the Danish health care system. Association for Classical Acupuncture and TCM (Arbeitsgemeinschaft für Klassische Akupunktur und Traditionelle Chinesische Medizin e.V.; AGTCM):
The Association for Classical Acupuncture and TCM (AGTCM) was founded in 1954 as an association committed to education and continuing education in acupuncture and TCM. The AGTCM offers a community to all those interested in a serious education in Chinese medicine and philosophy: Heilpraktiker, medical doctors, veterinarians, sinologists, and philosophers. The international conference of the AGTCM takes place in Rothenburg o.d.T. every year. For more information on the conference, please visit www.tcm-kongress.de.
British Acupuncture Council (BAcC):
The British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) is the UK's main regulatory body for the practice of acupuncture. Formed in 1995, it is committed to carrying the spirit and integrity of this ancient tradition forward into the 21st century. It shows how acupuncture can adapt to the needs of modern healthcare while retaining its essence, thus making it one of the most popular complementary therapies in the UK today.
Danish Medical Society (Dansk Medicinsk Selskab):
The Danish Medical Society (DMS) organizes one hundred scientific societies within the field of biomedicine in Denmark. The general aim of the society is to promote the interests of the member societies. It arranges an annual meeting with a scientific topic of general interest, and it provides financial support for scientific meetings arranged by the member societies. (Website mainly in Danish)

German Acupuncture Society Düsseldorf (Deutsche Akupunktur Gesellschaft Düsseldorf; DADG): The German Acupuncture Society Düsseldorf (DAGD) was founded in 1978. Continuing education for doctors and medical students is the focus of the DAGD, as well as scientific and clinical research in acupuncture.
