Packed with vital information, this outstanding new CD-ROM contains MRI and atlas images of gross anatomy and related text. The material included was derived from several sources, including the famous Talairach and Tournoux brain atlas. It comes complete with anatomy on axial, coronal, and sagittal images, as well as gyri and Brodmann's areas on the axial images.
This comprehensive, yet simple and affordable tool includes: more than 1,500 individual structures on 100 images; a full index with names of subcortical structures and cortical areas; atlas-based labeling of MR images; triplanar display and control on axial, coronal, and sagittal images; testing against location and name of structures; and much more!
The CD-ROM works in two modes: explore and text. In the explore mode, you can browse and examine the atlas and the data by searching the triplanar views or the anatomical index. You are able to label images with names and descriptions, measure distances, save images annotated with labels and/or distances, and clear the triplanar view. The test mode, ideal for students and residents, tests your knowledge of either the name or location of the structure. Test scores can be saved to measure improvement and prepare for exams.
Key features:
·Easy-to-use, with quick links to the information you need ·Axial, coronal, and sagittal images all presented at the same time ·User-friendly navigation between atlas images, anatomical index, and text ·Saving of labeled images suitable for use as teaching materials ·Searching capabilities for fast localization of any structure
THE CEREFY® ATLAS OF BRAIN ANATOMY is the interactive CD-ROM setting the standard in neuroeducation. All students, residents, and teachers who study the brain will benefit from the abundance of information provided here. For researchers with limited knowledge of brain anatomy, the CD-ROM provides the essential background they need. Stay at the forefront of the field with this state-of-the-art navigation guide!
