About
Welcome to the Thieme ElectronicBook Library, our expanding online reference library of Thieme books. This product is provided to you by the Thieme Publishing Group that currently publishes more than 700 medical and scientific books as well as a growing number of books in alternative medicine. The scientific contents of a selected number of which will become available online within this platform.
The first group of books to be available online is the Flexibook Atlases and Textbooks Series, a series of popular and highly respected review textbooks, published in both the basic as well as the medical sciences. For nearly 50 years, medical students and physicians have used our illustrated "flexi-books" to both study basic science and for their clinical rotations. Millions of these books, translated into more than a dozen languages, have been sold. They will now be available online for the first time.
We will update and expand the Thieme ElectronicBook Library continuously. To stay up-to-date with the developments, we invite you to review our "What's New" page frequently. You can also register with our Thieme ElectronicBook Library email newsletter, which will keep you informed about new products added to the library, new features and functionalities of the site, as well as all other Thieme news. By the way, the newsletter is available to everyone, regardless of whether or not you hold a license to our electronic books.

Licensing
Institutions may license our electronic books for online use. Access is authenticated by your IP address range registered at the Thieme server.
Individuals are invited to suggest licensing the Thieme ElectronicBook Library content to an institution or library within their reach.
The best way to explore the Thieme ElectronicBook Library is to experience it firsthand. We invite institutions to complete our trial access form and receive 30 days of trial access to our electronic book data. Individuals may then access a sample chapter of each book.
