Definition: The MARC 21 format is a standard for the representation and communication of bibliographic and related information in machine-readable form.

MARC records for all existing Thieme ebooks can be downloaded here, in .mrc (machine-readable) and .oc (machine-readable) format. Depending on your system and your load table, you will need to choose the corresponding file format (i.e. ILS systems load .mrc-files).

To learn more about MARC records, please visit the Library of Congress (LOC) at http://www.loc.gov/marc/.

MARC records for new titles will be made available in certain time intervals after the book has been added to the electronic book library.
