New York/Stuttgart – Thieme Publishers is pleased to announce that beginning in 2012 Facial Plastic Surgery will be publishing original research papers in addition to its widely acclaimed review articles.
"We believe that widening the pool of talented contributors to Facial Plastic Surgery will lead to a stronger foundation, greater innovation, and ultimately better patient care in the field of facial plastic surgery." says Anthony P. Sclafani, MD, FACS, North American Editor-in-Chief, and Werner Heppt, MD, European Editor-in-Chief, Facial Plastic Surgery.
Authors are invited to submit manuscripts based on original research for specific topics that have been selected for upcoming issues and thus benefit from the journal’s significant readership and increasing Impact Factor. Topics will include nuances of the nasal tip, complications in facial plastic surgery, revision rhinoplasty, and much more.
To facilitate this new development within Facial Plastic Surgery, we are pleased to announce the launch of a new online manuscript system: http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/fps. Authors are encouraged to submit their papers for specific issues via this portal.
