Biography

Dr. Resnick was born in Philadelphia. He attended Princeton University and the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. Dr. Resnick did his neurosurgical residency at the University of Pittsburgh, where he developed an interest in spinal surgery while doing an away rotation with Ed Benzel at the University of New Mexico. He earned a master’s degree in neuroscience based on his spinal cord injury research. His academic interests at the University of Wisconsin include clinical practice guidelines and outcomes research.
