Donations and Sponsoring

The association supports vocational schools in the southwest of Tanzania. The money goes to construction measures and necessary purchases in the schools. Young people are also supported through scholarships.

An interdisciplinary team regularly goes on humanitarian missions to St. Francis Buluba Hospital in Uganda. Together with local doctors, they operate on indigent patients free of charge to repair hernias of the groin, navel or abdominal wall; a widespread disease in African countries. The donations flow into the operations and aftercare.

In cooperation with over 100 cultural partners in the city of Stuttgart, the association enables people with little money to participate in culture. The cooperation partners provide free admission to their venues. The non-profit association is financed by municipal funding, which covers around 50 percent of the costs incurred. The remaining funds come from donations and project money as well as charity events.

The Stuttgarter Zeitung's Christmas donation campaign supports citizens from Stuttgart and the region who are in need through no fault of their own.

The independent international medical relief organization was founded in France in 1971. Since then, it has developed into a worldwide network of 26 member associations that provide medical emergency aid in more than 70 countries. Currently, Médecins Sans Frontières is providing aid in 19 locations in the Gaza Strip, among other places.

Whether in Ukraine, Syria, Afghanistan or Lebanon, refugees urgently need support, especially during the cold season.

The association campaigns for access to clean drinking water and sanitary hygiene facilities, particularly in Africa.
