In cooperation with the World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies (WFNS), Thieme has launched a new Open Access journal. The WFNS encompasses over 130 member societies representing more than 40,000 neurosurgeons worldwide. Thieme, the WFNS and the Editor-in-Chief Dr. Anil Nanda offer this truly global community a voice to promote scientific progress and research diversity in neurosurgery worldwide. In particular, researchers from LMICs (low- and middle-income countries) and young neurosurgeons are encouraged to submit and empowered to drive the progress of scientific research on a global level.
