New York/Stuttgart – Thieme Publishers is pleased to announce three of its textbooks are being honored with the prestigious 2018 American Publishers Awards for Professional and Scholarly Excellence (The PROSE Awards). Color Atlas of Brainstem Surgery by Robert F. Spetzler won first prize in the category Textbook/Clinical Medicine. Endoscopic Approaches to the Paranasal Sinuses and Skull Base edited by Manuel Bernal-Sprekelsen and Isam Alobid as well as Auricular Reconstruction by Francoise Firmin received honorable mentions in the same category. The PROSE Awards were presented on February 8, 2018 at a special luncheon ceremony during the Professional and Scholarly Publishing Annual Conference in Washington, DC.
