New Leadership for Thieme India: Arijit Khasnobis

April 2025 – Arijit Khasnobis has taken over as Managing Director (Country Head) of Thieme India. With extensive experience in the publishing industry, he is well-equipped to further develop Thieme India strategically. A heartfelt thank you goes to Ajit Kohli, who has shaped the company with foresight for many years and is now ensuring a smooth transition.

Elmar Weber joins Thieme as Chief Technology Officer

February 2025 – Elmar Weber is now the new Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and a member of the Thieme Group management board. With this new position, the Stuttgart-based family business is strengthening its technological focus as a digital healthcare provider. Weber has been significantly involved in the development and expansion of the medical knowledge platform Amboss since 2018 and was most recently involved as CTO for the publishing platform Morressier.

SYNLETT now integrated as a destination journal for ChemRxiv authors

November 2024 – Thieme and ChemRxiv are pleased to report that authors who post preprints on ChemRxiv can now quickly submit their manuscript to SYNLETT, a leading international, single-anonymized peer-reviewed journal reporting research results and current trends in chemical synthesis.
