Anna Miller receives Thieme Award for her oral presentation at the 26th Lakeland Symposium (Grasmere) 2025.

Thieme Chemistry is pleased to announce the winner of the award for the successful oral presentation at the 26th Lakeland Symposium (Grasmere) 2025, which took place in Grasmere, United Kingdom, from May 11 at 17:00 to May 15 at 13:00.

Anja Hofmann and Dmitrii Sychev receive Thieme Poster Prizes at MATSUS25. Thieme Chemistry is pleased to announce the winners of the Thieme Poster Prizes at Materials for Sustainable Development Conference (MATSUS25), which took place in Seville, Spain, from March 3rd-7th, 2025. Congratulations Anja Hofmann and Dmitrii Sychev!

Anja Hofmann from the University of Bayreut (Germany) wins the MATSUS Poster Prize for her poster The Dependence of Photocharging TiO2 Aerogels on Surface Area and Charging Conditions and their Activity for the dark N2and NO3-Reduction Reaction.

Dmitrii Sychev wins the MATSUS Poster Prize for his poster Visualization of the charge transfer and accumulation under illumination in different semiconducting materials.

Alena Neudert, Kevin Keller and Michael Mertens were awarded the Science of Synthesis poster prizes at the JCF Spring Symposium (GDCh-JCF ), which took place in Münster (Germany) from March 12th-15th, 2025. Congratulations!

Alena Neudert from the University Bayreuth wins the prize for best science 'Hybrid all-Fe Redox Flow Battery – Coupling Theory and Experiment'. She was awarded the SOS Workbench Edition: Water in Organic Synthesis.

Kevin Keller from the Justus-Liebig-University Giessen wins the prize for participants' choice 'Bioinspired Heteronuclear Bimetallic Complex - Copper- vs. Iron-Superoxido Pathway. An Example of Cytochrome c Oxidase'. He was awared the SOS Workbench Edition: Dual Catalysis in Organic Synthesis. 

Michael Mertens from the Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf wins the prize for best poster design 'Synthesis of the novel Metallophore Methylolanthanin and its Derivatives'. He was awared the SOS Workbench Edition: Biocatalysis in Organic Synthesis.

The Sustainability & Circularity NOW Flash Presentation Prize was awarded to Edmund Dadge at the Green Chemistry Synthesis for Circular Economy Winter School (GCS4CE), which took place in Padova (Italy) from 17th-21st February. Congratulations!

Edmund Dadge from the University of Bath wins the prize for his presentation on 'Towards a Structure-Activity Relationship in the Zinc Catalysed Degradation of Polyesters'. He was awarded a monetary reward of 50€.

Joan Conejos-Jalencas was awarded the Synthesis Poster Prize at the 1st Meeting of Organic Chemistry of the Catalan Chemical Society (1RQO-SQC), which took place in Barcelona (Spain) from January 30th-31st, 2025. Congratulations!
